Who We Are
Terra Piccinelli & C. is a family-run farm that has been cultivating the land and its traditions for over twenty years in the small village of Brinzio, at the foot of the Campo dei Fiori Regional Park, in the green heart of the province of Varese. Founded in 2000 by Massimo and Marina, the company was born from the union of two families’ roots and three complementary forms of knowledge: the farming tradition inherited from grandfather Anselmo; the commercial experience passed down by grandmother Alma; and the culture of hospitality and cuisine carried forward by grandparents Pasquale and Maria. From this intertwining of stories emerged a project that brings together working the land, the value of food, and hospitality - built and sustained every day through the direct involvement of the family. Today, this journey is enriched by the presence of their son Lorenzo, trained in hospitality, who brings a modern and sustainable vision capable of combining taste, nature, and innovation without losing touch with tradition. We grow vegetables, ancient grains, fruits, medicinal herbs, and edible flowers, and raise various animal species, following natural practices and respecting the rhythms of the land, with great attention to biodiversity and animal welfare. We process much of our production in-house and complement our agricultural activity with an agritourism project focused on dining and hospitality, where food tells the story of the land and the family’s daily work. Terra Piccinelli & C. is a reality that has grown over time while remaining faithful to its values: respect for the land, for animals, and for people. A family project built with commitment, consistency, and care, day after day.
Our land
Our farm stretches across hilly and mountainous terrain, immersed in the greenery of Valcuvia and within the Campo dei Fiori area. It is a place where biodiversity is still alive, where forests, chestnut groves, and pastures coexist in balance with agricultural activity. Its strategic location, just a few kilometers from major cities yet far from the chaos, allows us to offer our guests an oasis of tranquility, with nature trails, scenic views, and paths that invite them to reconnect with nature and with themselves.
